I have created this watercolour At the Gates of Dawn to indulge in painting fog which I love. I have kept the palette almost monochrome to create this special atmosphere just before the sun disc shows over the horizon its glow already strong enough to make out all the objects but not sufficient to show their true colours. Furthermore, I have added a little bird on top of the old fence post to welcome the coming day with its chirpy little hymn. Enjoy.
