This watercolour has been inspired by my friend's elegant black cat and my love of rainy weather. I enjoy the smell and sound, the slight colour shift that affects everything around me. I often sit and watch the rain in this manner, so I thought it will make a lovely, thoughtful and meditative image. The particular challenge was to paint the water droplets which I think went rather well. Enjoy.
